Excellent value for money. Staff were very accommodating with all our requests. View was excellent. Felt safe with the night security on property and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and places of interest. Breakfast was included in the price which is added value. It's not 5 star and the property is old though well maintained, but for the price you pay and with the friendliness of the staff, one cannot complain nor expect anymore.

The friendly & efficient service by various staff did it for me, along with the spotless cleanliness of the room. Loved the personal touch of a welcome card and homemade biscuits upon entering the room, as well as the availability of an iron & ironing board. Every necessity inside the room was in tip-top condition.

All staff are excellent in their different portfolios, they did make my stay as comfortable and pleasant, to all that i required. The view from the room that I occupied was the best of both, meaning having roadside and bayside views, I must compliment the chef for the delicious and plentiful breakfast that was provided.

The hotel has a lot of character and the staff is super friendly. Perfectly located and right on the beach. It is clean and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was lovely prepared and served with smiles. The breakfast room has a stunning view as well.

We got caught up in a storm from Cape Town and was running extremely late. We received a call to check if we are still coming. This was great, they did not just accept no arrival but went the extra mile. This was our 2nd stay and we will be staying again soon. Breakfast is lovely, rooms are clean and comfy and the staff is very friendly. There is a salon on the first floor. This time i decided to use it and the staff and clients was extremely welcoming.

My second time at Hoedjies Bay. First time with my 2 sons and this long weekend (Easter) with my mom. We enjoyed the view and room, as all ways, very neat, tidy and comfortable. We just realised, maybe next stay on other side of the hotel or closer to the front (we were in room 31). Food was amazing and friendly staff. Sunday was a good one with amazing food and entertainment x.

The hotel was built in 1970 and has a lot of older building charm, with beautiful sea views, and a unique position on the beach. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast options included boerewors and tomato & onion smoor!

Fantastic View, Amazing breakfast, Stunning Staff service! Would have like it if there was a little fridge to put our water in, but not a problem - staff was very willing to bring us ice every day with no problem for them. Thanks again for a stunning stay.
